"Hotel in an excellent location in Sepilok for RDC, Orangutan and Sun Bear centres, with good access to Grabs. A little bit worn around the edges and be careful on the walkways and near the pool - you'll need shoes! Accommodation cool and clean but bathroom arrangement odd! Only one towel each (not luxury) and one toilet roll! NO TV and wifi not available in the rooms only in the central area. Pool not very clean. Also pre book tours as the hotel charge ridiculous rates (quoted 130 MYR pp for RDC...

"Great stay at the Hotel Sandakan. Room was great for our family of four. Great view out to the Sandakan harbour. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant (we also had lunch there twice as part of a tour we were on, and can confirm that was very yummy too)."

"If you just want a bed for a night it is fine. Definitely wouldn’t want to stay longer. Breakfast was very basic no cereal or milk, only 1 fresh fruit papaya I think. Probably wouldn’t stay again but conveniently located to airport."
