"Food was very good to excellent for a resort. Drinks were good but not great. The excellence club was very expensive for what you get. The Magna restaurant has an amazing tomahawk steak which is almost worth the price of entry, but the rest of the food was not at the same level (particularly, the breakfast was only so-so… the eggs Benedict where not great). The French and lobster house restaurants were very good. Our upgraded “excellence club” room was very nice, but extremely cold at all...

"Overall great vacation and resort. The rooms are a good size and the resort is easy to navigate and doesn't take more than 5 minutes to access any part of the resort. All restaurants/bars are pretty central. Beach was beautiful, sandy bottom for about 50 feet from shore and able to walk along the beach for long distances. "Everything was great! Except for the lobby area. The AC doesn’t work and it’s hot. The buffet was downstairs and it was very uncomfortable because of the AC not working. So you’re eating and sweating. The pool service by Carlos and Fernando was phenomenal! Very attentive and friendly. Staff was all great. Would definitely stay here again and I hope that AC gets fixed asap! "

"The food servers, restaurant and pool staff are amazing! Oscar, Samuel, Ricardo, Misael and Dani to name a few. They were wonderful and so nice! The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water and the beach huts and cabanas are great. The pools and pool area was also gorgeous and everything was very clean. "The room was really nice I would definitely stay there again definitely a place for couples to had fun there was adult content in the tv food was limited but it was still good very standard American food hamburgers hotdogs wish they had more options for food. That was my only complaint my recommendation to anyone staying here or in any other hotel rent a car the airport taxi service abuses over $70 $100 for any run while a car rental was $20 it didn’t make any sense I didn’t leave the hotel...

"The Royalton CHIC Cancun was an excellent experience overall! The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. The rooms offered stunning views, whether you were on the ocean side or the lagoon side. My only concern was the occasional long wait for the elevators, which could be frustrating at times. Other than that, everything was amazing, and I would highly recommend it to others!"

"I’ve been to many RIU Hotels. Las Americas was fantastic. The service was incredible. Staff are amazing. Thank you Enrique for your amazing service at the pool. Thank you Abu at the lobby bar. You are special. Thank you Irving and Sebastian…check in was lovely. Felipe is incredibly efficient on beach service. Staff at the steakhouse on our last night were so great (Nov. 20th). I never write reviews but this vacation was exceptional. Thank you RIU. We will be back. 👌"

"The property still needs some upgrades but they were working hard to do their best! We stayed for 9 days there and we had the best time ever! We’re definitely come back here! Loved every second of our vacation! They have the best shows and activities people around! "

"The atmosphere and energy was fantastic! My main complaint was the tactics used to try and sell their Premier membership. They wanted one hour of our time to explain the benefits, but it turned into 2 1/2 hours of high pressure salesmanship."

"We enjoyed our two-week stay. We had a 10 month old so it was nice to be at an all-inclusive so we could try to keep her on a schedule. The beach and pools were great. Food was mostly good! The ice cream in the Italian restaurant was my favourite!! "
