"My room was adjacent to nearby smoke stacks. When I commented that the smoke was in my room, the front desk said “oh, that’s because it’s cold.” I didn’t think smoke in a room should be dismissed. I found front-desk staff to be abrupt and not helpful. The Kahler is very convenient- but as long as I’m able to walk- I’d consider other hotels in the future."

"Came in to go to Mayo clinic. Didn’t want to stay right down by Mayo so we found this hotel about 5 minutes away. A little hard to find as it is attached to Dickeys BBQ. Had the best breakfast for the price of the hotel. "

"It's my go to when I have appointments at the Mayo Clinic. Convenient, great price, and there's a workout room, pool, and complimentary breakfast. Parking in their garage can be limited and really tight spots for any vehicle over midsized, but there IS a parking garage across the street. There's a coffee shop in the lobby, sandwich shop just off of the lobby and a full service restaurant and bar on site as well."
