"Good hotel "

"Well maintained spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Quiet location but only 5mins walk from the start of Aviemore. This is my 3rd time staying here while visiting family. "

"Lovely big comfortable bedrooms, a cosy library and the conservatory for meals had the best views. The pool area and spa helped make our stay memorable. The hotel had an old fashioned charm but was warm and well looked after. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to the area. "

"Stayed at this place overnight while visiting Cairngorms & Glenshee ski centers. The room was nice and an excellent breakfast was included in the price. They also have a nice bar. Staff, esp Simon at the reception, we're very friendly and helpful. We traveled using our own car, so not sure about accessibility by public transportation, but this hotel is very close to Grantown high street."

"Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite...

"Quiet compact has everything you need and like washing liquid scrub mini fridge integrated microwave no gas or no hob or no oven and near by shops helps for self catering trip parking and few steps 1st floor enjoyed first visit and stay "

"Overall a very comfortable experience. This is the second time we stayed in Macdonald's hotel, opted for half board and loved our meals everynight. Breakfast was great, would be nice to have meatfree options for vegetarians, even if not in buffet but can offer to prepare it if requested, still loved scones and beans and pancakes, kind and caring staff."
