"Probably one of the best place to stay and enjoy serengati national park. Staffs are super nice and hospitality is just amazing. I'd recommend to my friends. "

"The customer service was out standing. They were on top of each and every thing asking several times how they could help me and how did I sleep and how did I like my dinner. The food was incredible. I was escorted to and from dinner each night. They helped me make phone calls to be sure I would be picked up from the airport to my next hotel. Wonderful. Wonderful Wounderful"

"We stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful! We loved it. Staff was very friendly, food was good, got to see plenty of animals from our room! But be prepared to pay more money by the end. Considering how much we paid for the room, we would’ve thought the airport transfer should’ve been included for free, but nope. $200 each way. That is very expensive. Also, they charge a national park fee daily. We had to pay an extra 1.2K. Just an FYI. But we enjoyed everything. "

"The lodge is located in a central place amongst the vast Serengeti, so it is relatively easy to visit the sites where the animals are located. I found the buffet fantastic with a great chef and helpful staff. Dancers accompanied the evening meals and there was a nice vibe in the dining area. You cannot leave the premises of the lodge, it literally is too dangerous to do so, as hyenas, warthogs or even a hippo may attack you. An incredible sight I witnessed was to see a giraffe appear at night behind my room! Some mornings, monkeys would appear on the roof of the lodge, but they were harmless and ran away from the sight of us.
The views from the lodge of the Serengeti are fantastic and many a guest woke up early to try to witness the sunrise or sunset.
The rooms are just about spacious enough for 2 people but the wi-fi is poor. Lights go out at 12 midnight and there is no hot water from 12 to 6 AM, not a huge issue for me personally. The gym has a good set of equipment’s and was not busy at all during my stay. I regretted not taking binoculars for my safari and I think it would be a good business opportunity if the lodge rented these out.

Would not recommend
"We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. When we went to the front desk to request a portable fan were we told none were available. We ended up sitting outside the room until 1800. We went to have dinner at the restaurant and was advised the restroom was not completed. We had to return to our room if we wanted to use the restroom. Around 2000 we took a shower and got into the bed. There was a leak from the shower wall onto the bed. Our pillows were wet. This is new lodge with a number of flaws. First time I have written a negative review. Unfortunately would not recommend👎👎"

"Remote glamping. Feels like a miracle that this camp in the middle of the Serengeti has hot water, electricity, Internet, and white tablecloth dining. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is not for the faint hearted or light sleeper. There are delightful animal noises at night. Baboons come into the camp at dusk. You need an escort to the dining tent after dark (easily arranged by telephone). I had a buffalo outside my tent one night. I never felt unsafe though.
I would strongly recommend to book via a tour guide. It's tough to figure out how to get there otherwise. "

"Asanja Moru has been around for 9 years is a lovely property. I really like the location in the western part of the Serengeti, it is green and lush and beautifully serene. The camp is charming and the staff are all incredibly good at what they do. There are 2 full time chefs and they prepare the most delicious meals, as good or better than what you could find in an upscale NYC restaurant. The fresh food is delivered on a regular basis and they take pride not only in the preparation, but also the presentation. I stayed for 5 nights and if you’re lucky, they will move the cooking operation outdoors for meals in the bush. It is such a great experience to dine outdoors in the wilderness. On my morning leaving the camp, we must have passed a heard of 50 elephants nearby marching toward our site. It was breathtaking. The manager of the camp, Bariki, is a consummate professional - he is very creative and very good at his job. I booked a safari driver directly through Asanja - his name is Sharif - he has vast experience and an encyclopedic mind regarding everything related to the park, especially all of the animals, including the exotic birds. While travelers can book with independent safari drive services, I would strongly recommend Sharif - he is usually in high demand and needs to be booked well in advance. I can’t imagine a driver more qualified and knowledgeable than Sharif - he really delivered and made each day on the Serengeti unforgettable. I highly recommend this property."
