"We have not previously stayed at a La Quinta, but this was an amazing first experience! The room was beautiful, large and had all the necessary accommodations. The bed was extremely comfortable which is typically high on our list of wants when picking a hotel. This property is also pet friendly, and they really are friendly regarding pets. "Booked this hotel for the convenience and prior reviews. Great staff service and friendliness however, wished the front desk told us there would be no housekeeping, as it was not clearly communicated until we can a small sign in the room. Very clean hotel and would recommend for short stays. "

"Everything was clean, comfortable bed, good location. A budget hotel without any sketchy-ness. Friendly and quick check-staff. Pet friendly. Breakfast was simple but got us started for the day. Perfect for a quick overnight. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"This is a fixed up property that was clearly once an older motel. It isn’t fancy but the beds were comfortable, the shower and bathroom were nice - and clean. The heater was noisy but we stayed on cold nights and found if we heated up the room we could turn the heat off when we were ready to go to sleep. The best selling point is the convenience. We were within two or three blocks of coffee shops, bookstore, retail and various interesting restaurants. "

"At checkin the two gentlemen were extremely helpful. Above and beyond most hotels. I am afraid i did not get their names. During checkout the day staff was the same quality. I will come back to the Salem Inn and will use others as i travel a lot."
