"We ended up not staying there this time because we couldn’t get to Trinidad because of the snow storm, highway 87 from Texas to Colorado thru New Mexico was closed and we were ended up staying at La Quinta in Dalhart TX, didn’t get the insurance at booking so lost the money but our previous stay was excellent and that was the reason we wanted to stay there again "

"The hotel needs updating. Besides being old the floors had not been cleaned. The "continental breakfast" was bad coffee, a few slices of bread and instant oatmeal. There was no hot water to make the oatmeal. The area is poorly lit. To get to the hotel you have to drive through a parking lot of businesses that are not longer in business. "

"Stayed here about 4 years ago while on a road trip. It was nice, quiet, and clean. Chose to stay here again just this past weekend because of the same reasons. "
