"If you are arriving by train, this property is about a 15 minute walk from Kochi station, which for Kochi is a fairly short walk. The location is also right next to a bus terminal, with a couple tram stops nearby as well. Good shopping is a close walk, and the castle is also only a 15 minute walk. As far as Kochi goes, this is probably as walkable as it gets. As for the property, it is a bit older, and while the hallway had a strange smell, the room smelled fine, was clean, and had good air...

"This was good, the bedding is tatami mat style, a good experience. Fresh towels each day as we used the hotel sauna each evening. Smart and clean, quiet, location short walk to shopping and dining. I would happily use again. "

"Pros: free breakfast, a big room, nice staff, LOCATION! Cons: all smoking hotel, beds were uncomfortable, the nightlife nearby was loud, the hotel is run down Although this was an all smoking hotel, the staff did find us a room that didn’t smell! The room was huge and the bathroom was clean. The carpets looked awful though and the wall paper was peeling off. "The staff and hotel were wonderful. Close to shopping, dining and Hirome market, all about 1 minute away. Station is a brisk 15 min walk but tram stops almost in front of hotel. Would stay again"

"Although it is far from JR Kochi St, this inconvenient will pay off for really friendly atmosphere, nice Japanese style breakfast, and different taste of curry dinner everyday. I highly recommend this place because you can enjyoy having time with international guests, solo travelers, and ,of cource!, friendly staffs."

"Very reasonable price for my weekend stay. The room is equipped with the minimum necessary for a comfortable sleep. Recommended for anyone who wants to find pleasures outside of a hotel (Kochi has a lot of places for late night drinking!)."
