"Room was nice and ok, but halfway and lift were untidy"

"The staff in all departments were fantastic. They were all friendly, polite, professional and very well presented. The restaurant was pristine and the food was at our table in minutes. It pipingvhomtvand delicious. Breakfast was lovely. So much to choose from The only thing I can pick on is the tea and coffee station in the room. Personally, I would have loved to have seen some hot chocolate sachets instead of just tea and coffee. Complimentary biscuits would have been a lovely gesture too....

"I love scousers because of their warmth and friendliness but the service here - apart from the reception - was abysmal. If breakfast is supposed to be served until 9.30am you shouldn’t be made to feel like a criminal when you greet the staff with a friendly ‘good morning’ to be met with a cold response, looking at their watches and offering no welcome greeting in return. Just appalling when you consider how much working people like us spend in these places. "
