There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. "Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "This hotel does not deserve it's name. Look at the pictures. The window is held closed by a screw attached to some piece of wood, bed leg and bathroom sink legs are crooked. The toilet flush is in a inconvenient spot to say the least. The carpet is full of stains. There was a cricket under the bread which by the way free breakfast is cereals and toasts only. Do not waste your time, sleep in your car."
