"This is a really beautiful place to stay, the room was lovely and very comfy. It was nice to stay somewhere a bit different and felt very special. On the way to our room the corridor/stair well did have a few cobwebs with dead flies in, but I did laugh as it was in theme with it being an old quirky place! It didn’t put me off staying, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. The breakfast was amazing, though the staff do clear up quick, and take your cutlery! Therefore if you want seconds...

Included breakfast with our package and was not dissapointed as plenty of choice. Rooms a little dated but who stays in their room all day. Very good leisure facilities. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and relatives."

"We had a friendly welcome and the room was spacious and perfect for our needs. The spa was very busy, but that's not unexpected on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was disappointing, although the food was nice and good value, mine was not cooked through. I sent the food back and it was re-cooked but it impacted the enjoyment of the meal, and I was surprised that there was no offer of a free drink/desert/meal for the inconvenience this caused. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. "
