"We had stayed there before, when we arrived the heating in our room didn’t work but the lovely receptionist sorted us out with a fan heater for the second night. Bit disappointed that our room wasn’t cleaned at all for our 2nd night ( just emptying the bins would have been nice!) Another area for improvement would be to fix the massive potholes at the entrance of the car park… but the location is great and the staff are really lovely!"

There was an issue with the first room allocated where the heating wasn't working but the duty manager was diligent in sorting us a new room and checking it over before moving us. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good quality and adequate. Issue for us were the bar staff in the evening were a shambles. "There is nothing this hotel lacks. Absolutely beautiful accommodation and facilities with a manor house look and feel. Breakfast is unbeatable. No where tops this. Swimming pool with fresh ground coffee and decaf. Free. Buyable swim suits and goggles. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff, all of them. Very accommodating and helpful. As I said, nothing could be better. "
