"If you reserved a less expensive room or assigned to a "-1" floor room, try to change it. You will not be able to sleep from 5:00 AM-11:00AM The kitchen and dinning room right above will make lots of noise. After two days, we could not take it. The staff is kind enough to change our room to third floor."

"Location was great, very close to St Stephens and a beautiful Christmas Market was right outside. Was frustrated when, after the Hotels.com stated in their description I could pay in cash with Euros, I had to pay in local currency so had to make a card payment. I would've paid in full at time of booking if this was the case. Then, at departure they were unable to supply an invoice. The showerhead was dirty, advised the desk so hope it was put right. "The guesthouse itself is a nice property. It is very conveniently located near transit, restaurants, shopping and a Lidl. The room is a good size I was travelling solo and found it to be just right. nothing special just a basic room. The receptionists are very nice. you do have a bunch of keys to go in and out of the property which can seem like an inconvenience but I didn't mind. on my floor there was a full size kitchen for guests to use with a dining area. "The staff went above and beyond for me. The was a head of state staying at a nearby hotel and my taxi could not come to the hotel.The driver texted his location but I was unfamiliar with the location. I showed the text to the staff and one of them( sorry that I do not have his name) walked me to meet my taxi. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Budapest."

"The sliding door of the shower kept sliding back, couldn't have a proper shower. Asked staff to fix it on the second day, didn't fix it. Only staying for 2 nights so I just put up with it without asking the staff for help again. Overall, the room was clean and the hotel was safe. Scenic spots in Budapest are basically all packed in the city centre and therefore transport from the hotel was convenient. Staff offered luggage storage after check out for travellers who have flights later in the day....

"Mystery Hotel is a beautiful hotel with spa and excellent restaurant. It is a 20 min walk to tourist areas and has pleasant rooms and staff. The buffet breakfast is excellent and varied. If we ever come to Budapest again we would not hesitate to book here. "
