"The property is older so do not expect to be a typical hotel, but then what hotel has a wood burning fireplace in the rooms and deer walking around in front of your porch. Food and drinks were good and a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy nature. Easy drive to Blacksburg for VA Tech games."

"I love the inn. Staff members are always friendly, the room is always clean, and it’s always comfortable. I love the location, as well due to its proximity to downtown and campus. A bonus now is they’ve decorated for Christmas with numerous beautiful trees."

"Was a 1 night stop to sleep part way through a longer trip. Arrived after midnight, check in was easy, room was clean. Would definitely stay there again. Didnt check out the breakfast but its listed as a grab and go. I did see cereal, muffins and a pancake machine on my way out the door. "

"After a long drive and then a family funeral, this hotel actually became a refuge from the stress. The staff was outstanding and the rooms very clean and comfortable. For being so close to a major roadway, the rooms were surprisingly quiet! Would recommend this hotel to anyone. "
