"DO NOT BOOK We arrived after a long travel to find a chain and padlock on the big gates, it turns out that the hotel has been closed for some time. The number listed was a wrong number and got no response to messages sent. Luckily, we soon found somewhere else to stay. "

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was buffet style and food good quality. We had an excellent 2 nights in Kandy. Hotel situated short distance from Town centre, uphill. Just a short ride in tuk tuk."

"Tricky to get to, small uncomfortable bed, very dirty, bottled water seen to have been bottled manually (didn't touch it, it had bits inside). Description mentioned 18 pools, we only saw one. Very poorly sound proofed. Not cheap (especially food). Pretty scenery all around."
