"Abode is a lovely place to stay. We have stayed at abode many times. There must be quite a high turnover of staff because noone recognises us to say welcome back. The city centre location is very convenient. The staff are friendly."

"It was for our wedding anniversary, love Canterbury and was our first visit to the hotel. Beautiful place, shame we had scaffolding at the back of us, which we looked on to, really rattled and the plastic was flying around due to the high winds."

"Amazing hotel full of history. Gorgeous clean room and a bath to die for. Will definitely be back. The young lad on reception that looked after us was fantastic. He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "

" We stayed in the wagon for two nights which was absolutely fantastic. It was in a beautiful, peaceful, natural, romantic setting. A real treat, it was cosy, warm, understated luxury. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the service 10/10. We walk to the village pub and had a wonderful lunch. The house was quiet and relaxing with drinks and nibbles served all day and night. Overall it was an expensive weekend but worth every penny. Can’t wait to visit The Pig again. "

"Great room Linen and towels provided. Good amount of toilet roll for our stay. Lovely and warm. There was a 60th birthday party at the time of our stay. We actually didnt hear a thing overnight which was great! "
