"Our room which was in a fairly new building on top of a hill in very scenic mountain lake setting was very roomy and well stocked with all amenities needed. The hotel lodge with home cooked breakfast being available at a reasonable cost was convenient and satisfying and in a nice lodge dining setting. We were just passing through and wish we had planned more time to further enjoy the area."

"Stay was good. Internet was very slow in the room and made it hard to get work done in the evening. If you are looking for a quiet night and good sleep this is the spot. Side note: Verizon coverage in Paonia is non existent. "

"I had notified the owner that my husband cannot have dairy or eggs, when I made the reservation. The owner/manager seemed unaware, but since the breakfast was French Toast, my husband was able to eat it. The following day, I woke up feeling very unwell (happens after 7 years of cancer/60 treatments). The same person asked me if eggs over easy would be ok, and I said no, I was feeling very unwell and would appreciate something light. He became ANGRY and snapped that this is NOT how B&B works. I...
