"If our room in this hotel is typical then they are in urgent need of attention. The bed was as hard as rock, half the motorised window blinds did not work (one was also ripped and another had hanging cables where the motor had been removed), the outer light-proof shutters were held open by wooden wedges. "This is the only true hotel in Villena, and as a result it has seen its better days, but still continues to fill up as Villena is a vacation location. The restaurant downstairs does not open until 9 and closes early. No smoking is not really enforced, our room smelled horribly seeing as the last patron, according to the cleaning lady was a heavy smoker. But staff was kind enough to get us another room, larger and no smoke smell. This is a great little hotel to spend a few days in while...

"Very quiet country retreat that is 4.5kms from a made up road,about 7kms from the nearest town which takes about 25 minutes to drive because of the rough track from the Finca. When requesting the evening meal we were told in summer only a cold meal was served ,which consisted of good quality cold meats,sausage,cheese and bread with wine and water. There was only a verbal menu. The cost of the meal was between 50 to 60 € for two persons which I thought was a bit excessive but should have asked...

"Excellent stay! We used this place as a good stopping point for our first night when leaving Barcelona. So easy right off the highway, great parking, could walk to Almansa, grocery store nearby, wifi worked well, great & hot shower, clean room, nice staff. All the things a traveler hopes for and more. Just a delight and would stay again! "
