"I booked the Balmoral because it was in the historic district downtown, so I knew we'd be in the center of the city. I wanted to see the old section and we found the Museum of Costa Rica, which is housed in an old fort, right downtown. There was an restaurant sort of attached to the hotel which was very convenient and perfect for a nice dinner. Our room was very spacious, the bathroom had been remodeled and the was was hot - a must for us! The only thing missing was a washcloth, but I had packed one so we were good. the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Overall a great experience."

"New to Costa Rica, this Delta hotel was perfect. The staff were kind and friendly. The bartender, Ian, served me a glass of wine three times the size I'd get in the states. The breakfast choices were too numerous to list. What a great find!"
