"A beautiful place with very friendly and accommodating staff! It also has a nice looking pool and hot tub that I couldn't check out due to the weather. The landscaping is magical and offers multiple hidden seating areas. The vi we w across the valley is simply spectacular. The noise of the nearby highway can be bothersome when the semis are trucking up or down the mountain, but it's easily quieted if you shut the windows. The only drawback to my stay was the cold shower I had to take on the...

"I am grateful for the amazing affordability of this hostel which was also paired with a low-key easy-going atmosphere. When I was told that there would be “a pancake” in the morning I wasn’t expecting much but I was happily surprised to discover that this pancake was very large, neither over cooked nor under cooked and it was decorated with two different fruits on top along with syrup of course. Thank you! I’m so grateful."

Cet établissement est idéal pour accéder aux cratères du Volcan Irazu tôt le matin. Vu notre départ avant l'heure du petit déjeuner, nous avons reçu celui-ci la veille et avons tout déposé dans le frigo pour manger avant notre départ pour le volcan. "

From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. "Lovely place and a great value. The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was tasty. Nice hot shower and nearby to a great restaurant. Only downside was the wifi didn't reach to our cabina-- only in the cafeteria area. "
