"The hotel staff was nice; the room was clean and comfortable. This was well worth the price charged. I recently stayed at the Altoona Grand and there was no comparison. This hotel was excellent!"

"We walked in to a room that was already occupied, beds were used and food was left all over. We went back to front desk and we were assigned a room on the 3 floor where no elevator was available. I am 39 weeks pregnant and barely made it upstairs "

"This was a very nice, historic property. Some sections were undergoing renovation while we were there but our room seemed like it had been recently renovated. The tavern section of the hotel's restaurant had great food at a reasonable price. Our room was very spacious with a refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed from the 3rd to 4th of July and the price was very reasonable (they didn't seem to change the price because of the holiday). "
