"The Rixos Gulf Hotel is absolutely magnificent. From our arrival to our departure we experienced high quality service. The staff at the reception desk are welcoming and always ready to help even when we checked in late at night. The rooms are quite spacious with tv, iron, safe and coffe/tea facilities. The bathroom is big and well stocked with hygiene products. We were lucky to get two intecommunicating rooms. Sameer looked after us and made sure that we had all we needed (and extra). We had...

"Excellent place & service"

"I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel next to the metro station exit. Lovely old fashioned building. Friendly staff and very clean. Had dinner in their restaurant one night and was lovely sitting outside watchinf the souq go by. The gymn had some tired looking equipment but not a big problem. The pool is unheated and is a little chilly but very refreshing and I had it to myself. Very handy for the souq and to get on the metro. And there's a taxi rank at the opposite end of the souq."
