"The Refuge Inn was perfect. Everyone was friendly, helpful and it was very clean and quiet. There was a nice area for picnicking and a combo indoor/outdoor pool. They had a sack breakfast, that was included, that you chose the night before and it was delivered to your door at your specified time in the morning.The croissant egg sandwiches were tasty and freshly made. The icing on the cake were the Assateague ponies that you could feed right on the property."

The best pastries on the island hands down!! The staff was wonderful. Really more like family, everyone was just so nice. I will bring my family back to the Maddox. we enjoyed it evry much.
