This is a top notch hotel with outstanding service. They speak English well here. The garden was gorgeous. We stayed here in June because of the fireflies. I had never seen fireflies before so it was neat to see them close up. I thought there would have been more fireflies but it was still a worthwhile experience. The rooms were spacious. We stayed in another part of Tokyo for 5 nights and spent the last 2 nights here. This was a wonderful way to relax and unwind before leaving to go back home.

Property is old but they try to make it look like a 5 star hotel. It is not technically a 5 star hotel. It is 3.5 star hotel at best. They did upgrade my room to Tokyo Tower view for free. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However if you think you are staying at a 5 star hotel then you had never been to a real 5 star hotel before. They need to lower the price to justify that this is a 3.5 star hotel at best.
