There were no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The small refrigerator was not very cold and appears to be defrosting all night. The tv did not turn on. Couldn't determine if it was the remote or the tv itself. There were no instructions on the landline phone in the room to reach the front desk to report my problems. It was almost 11:00 pm and very cold outside so I was not inclined to walk to the front desk. Fortunately, the heater in the room worked and I was able to get some sleep. I had driven from San Diego and was very tired. I slept in and was not able to make it before 9:00am to breakfast.

First time staying here . The hotel was very quiet. A/c and heater worked good. They have a mini dining table, smart tv, mini fridge & microwave in the room. Lots of desk space to work on and the room was spacious. The bedding was clean. The restroom was clean and stocked. Good parking spaces next to the rooms. The hotel is right next to Walmart and a police station. So I assume the area is a little safe. We didn’t see any suspicious activities. Overall it’s a decent place to stay.

The pictures are deceiving. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a week. The building and rooms looked old and outdated. The tub was grubby and it smelled foul. There was no other cars in the parking lot at all.

Seniors, take note...
There's a two-level staircase from the lobby to the 2nd floor, no elevator. There were also no rolling carts, which would have been helpful since we had enough stuff for a 3-week road trip. Fortunately, the staff was able to change our room to the ground floor. Also, the room door was so difficult to open that I thought the key card wasn't working; my husband had to push the door open for me and for the fellow traveler next door having the same problem with her card. Another issue - hopefully a one-time thing: the site says "breakfast included." We were told by the night clerk that breakfast would be in the adjoining restaurant beginning at 6 AM. At 6 AM the next morning, there was no breakfast and the day clerk gave us a certificate to use at a nearby Quality Inn. When we finally checked out around 8:30 AM, the restaurant was open and we were told they were just late opening up. It was not a grab-and-go meal but one that had to be ordered and prepared, which would have been fine had we not had to get on the road. Finally, a general note: while the bed was comfortable and the shower great, there were very few outlets, no chair, no desk - all useful amenities on a long road trip with intermittent wi-fi access. (First world problems!)

Front desk said no body wash or soap for use.leaking water from an air-conditioner, one bed sheet is full of crumbs. No toilet paper holder. No breakfast provided we need to drive to a different motel for it.Very bad experience. Travellers be aware do not use this motel in Denming,New Mexico on I-10 West.

Check-in went, okay. It was rather late in the evening when I arrived. I was told there was no breakfast available at this location, but was given a blue pass to have breakfast at the Days Inn just down the road. After getting my key card, I drove around to park. There were, what appeared to be, some real shady characters in and around the parking area. I tried to keep an eye on my vehicle by parking close to the room. The on sight restaurant was not open, nor was the exercise room, or the pool. The desk clerk was nice enough, but I was too tired to call and ask for some soap to wash with. I didn't want to walk by the questionable folks in the parking area.

First day there no internet or TV, not the hotel’s fault. We weren’t initially checked in and they acted like we weren’t there. No housekeeping ever, had to ask for trash bags because no one came to empty it. Had to drive down the road to the quality inn for the free breakfast they don’t provide at the Baymont. Next time I’ll just stay there.

A scary surprise! I was assigned a room that was already occupied by team members. The lady in the room was so angry because I opened the door but she was with 2 other staff members and they didn't registered the room as occupied. The receptionist was very sorry, it wasn't her fault and apologize but the reaction of the other lady even when I understand it was their fault was so mad!!

Much like putting lipstick on a pig.
Supposedly this was a Wyndham hotel, but essentially it was an old motel that and attempt had been made to modernize. Instead it was worse than trying to put lipstick on a pig. The grounds were old, trash was outside the trash bins, the restaurant was non-existent, they did not even have coffee in the lobby, nor did they care. It is the first time that I have ever resented having to pay for such a lackluster hotel / motel. I could honestly describe the description as false advertising.
