"I usually stay at the Abbey Inn in Cedar Creek. I went to book a reservation too late & realized they were sold out. I quickly had to pivot when I found this little motel close to me.I had no idea what to expect. I am so glad I did! It's a small motel with lots of charm. Check in was easy. When I walked down the hall, I first noticed how clean & updated the hallway felt. I got into my room and what a surprise! The entire thing was updated, modern, &done well. You could tell that it was not thrown together like some motel remodels, but whoever did it actually took their time and planned it out. Even the TV felt like an upgrade. The bed was a little soft for me, but the bedding was very comfortable. I was only there for 1 night, but I would have been happy staying a week. I noticed an ice & water machine, so when I went to check out, I headed there, only to be confronted by the gentleman working who asked me how my stay was, & informed me that they were just recently opened. When I checked in late that night, they had ice cold water available & the next morning they had fresh fruit juices & muffins. Let me tell you when I say that this place is extremely clean, every aspect of it is. I'm a hotel/motel snob, & this place met all my expectations and more. I travel to Ca yearly & I will be definitely staying here each time passing through. On a side note, its important for me to support local small businesses instead of foreign owned corporations. Please give them a shot!"
"While we were only there for about 8 hours due to some mechanical issues earlier in the day, we will most definitely visit again when in the area. Between the staff, the clean spacious rooms, and the complimentary breakfast, no one should be disappointed. Thanks for turning our day 180 degrees! "
"Good value & conveniently located along Hwy 50/Main Street. Room was comfortable, clean & ideal for what I was looking for. Free, on-site parking & wifi were nice positives."
