"The car park attached to the hotel is owned by another company. It is very very confusing as the website says £12.50 for 24 hours but when we paid £12.50 at 12.40 pm it says it was valid till 4.50 pm. Had an issue with the TV not working on our last stay, apparently this is an issue across the hotel so would not recommend if a TV is a must for you. "Our budget room was small but clean. We were in the annex over the road and concerns about noise were not founded as we did not return until after midnight. The staff were friendly and helpful. As stated there is limited parking behind the hotel but we were able to park on arrival so all good. "

"I enjoyed the stay but was very very disappointed at having a room above the gym as was woken at 8am on a Sunday morning with very very loud booming music coming from a fitness class. This was unacceptable and spoiled my stay. "

"Another lovely stay at Slaley Hall. I always feel relaxed when I stay and love a walk around the grounds. The room was big and comfortable although parts were showing their age, like the door into the bathroom and wooden wardrobes, however, this really did not detract from a lovely night away.
