Our Short stay

We spent 2 nights at Tivoli Garden. We found the Reception staff very cordial, warm and extremely helpful. The room was very good, spacious and well maintained except for some minor snags such as water clogging in the wash basin in the toilet and the toilet seat shaking a bit . Both the issues were resolved as soon as they were reported. What we found missing was the absence Good Restaurants . The only restaurant which was functional was not kept very tidy. We were really worried about the flies making their rounds around the dining table. Food was ok and served politely The waiters were friendly but some of he supervisors were found very tight lipped. We also found the security staff covering our area ( Gate 5 I think) very unfriendly, especially the one in he veninhg shift was not at all respectful of the guest. On earth both the evenings we found him sitting with crossed legs when we entered the building starting at us without bothering to wish us or even getting up. This wasn't acceptable. In the compound we found some senior managers moving around ignored the guests completely, avoided even eye contacts. Overall the resort has a peaceful but exceptionally quite when there are any functions happening in the huge ball rooms/ meeting halls within the compound. We felt the resort couldn't be made more lively with some entertainment facilities anand eateries added. I am sure this could improve the occupancy level if the property substantially.

It is a very good hotel. Did not like the area

Being a travel agent I have stayed in various hotel. staying in this hotel but not as good as expected. Room service was good but the other services were not so prompt and fine. I never complain but few things like towels were really old and worn out, ph was not working, wifi did not work, staff were very good though and the breakfast was up to the expectation. I had only small time to spent here.

Very unclean room and disgusting toilet

Disgusting toilets with broken tiles and dirty bath tub. None of the plug points work. Reading lamp is mounted just above the pillow so one has to duck to avoid hitting the lamp with their face. I've hit the lamp twice in one night.

Not a good hotel to stay in delhi

I arrived in Delhi at 10:00 AM, called the reception and asked for an early check in if possible ? The guy who picked up the call told its available. After reaching there I had to wait till 12:00 AM to get the room and the guy said he assumed it will be free. After getting the room which was one corner of the hotel the AC was not working at all. I complained and nothing happened they removed some filter from AC which didnt help. They said AC is centralized and they control from main switch, where as there was a control switch inside the room. Then came the food part, breakfast they didnt have any buffet. They said you order and we will get few things which are available. They didnt even had a proper cab service to city center. Rooms were clumsy blanket didnt seem to be washed and kept.

Doe geen boeking bij dit hotel

Wij zijn zeer ontevreden over dit hotel. De 4 sterren die bij dit hotel vermeld staan zijn onterecht, 2 sterren is het maximale. Het personeel is vriendelijk echter spreken de meesten beperkt Engels. Onze eerste kamer lag direct naast de keuken hiervan hadden we overlast ook stonden achter onze kamer de noodstroom diesel generatoren opgesteld, daar het elektriciteitsnet in de buurt waar het hotel staat niet stabiel is starten deze gemiddeld 3-4 keer per dag. Verder was de kamer zeer stoffig en werd er niet goed schoongemaakt. Na herhaaldelijk reclameren kregen wij na 16 dagen een andere kamer echter was hier de airco zo vies dat wij na 2 nachten besloten hebben dat wij hier niet langer wilden verblijven. Het ontbijt bestond uit een beperkt buffet wat zelfs 12 van de 18 dagen niet beschikbaar was. Het hotel staat in een achteraf buurt van Delhi, ver van het centrum.
