Very nice historic hotel. Plus / minus on being co-located with busy Cuban restaurant. The food at the Cuban restaurant was excellent, but makes the hotel smell like oil and food. Parking also becomes an issue because of the restaurant. The hotel is an excellent location for all things downtown Deland.

The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, however their maid service is terrible. I had to ask for toilet paper. The room was not cleaned or paid any attention to. They have large TVs on the wall in the bedroom which is next to the bed and you bang against it at night. Neither TV worked and had cords hanging off the TVs. The resturant next to it was great and the bar in the restaurant seem
