We stayed for 10 days in early March. The hotel is across the street from MRT station. The hotel is clean, well maintained, in a safe area. There are two hot pot restaurants 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are very knowledgeable and polite.

Great, friendly staff. Clean, well modernized room and same for the overall hotel. Very conveniently located right next to the train and the Night Market as well as many good local restaurants. Would certainly book again.

Hotel HD Palace was a solid hotel and in a convenient area, but the rooms could use an update. We noticed some mold in the shower and sink area when we arrived. To the staff’s credit, they promptly attempted another cleaning the next day. However, they were unable to get much of it off, which points to the need for a deeper clean/room update. We also noticed the smell of smoke for a few days in our room, and the staff wasn’t sure where it might be coming from. Again, the staff was welcoming and responsive to our requests, but we feel that perhaps the property itself needs a bit of an update in the near future!

"We got a great deal for two night, superior room with West side balcony view of Taipei. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The historical hotel is quite large and beautiful inside and out. Location is a bit far from downtown tourist areas but the hotel offers a free shuttle service ..."
