"The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. "

"Staff were lovely and the room had a couple of extra touches I wasn’t expecting like bottles of water. The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"The Torcroft was a great place to stay in Torquay. The hosts, Gary and Philip were friendly and professional and could not have done more to make my stay great. They were full of helpful hints on places to go whilst staying in Torquay. The breakfast was lovely and always freshly cooked to order. The bedrooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. "Stunning views, no Take sways not even a fish ad chip shop, one convenients shop, hotel was friendly helpful nice staff ad head manager very accommodating, food good would recommend this hotel but not if your in a Wheelchair no lift sadly, but the manager was very helpful in that letting us park our mobility vehicle outside which helped. The staff ad manager helped make the stay very good. "

"Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. "It’s a beautiful hotel, conveniently located near the beach as well as a short distance to the train station. The room was furnished well, updated bathroom and a balcony with a nice view of the grounds (which are really well maintained and spacious). Very dog friendly, they even allowed dogs in the dining room."
