"I like the staff and the property. Lots of trees. We had a filtered water dispenser in the room. WiFi is good. Hot water shower is not consistent. Wish there bed has a mattress cover."

"Great place to stay. Only issue was the water was always shut off. I think this was due to maintenance taking place. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay here. Guards are very nice. Pool is awesome."

"The location is in an elevated setting quite high in the mountain offering guests a clear view of the trees and peak of the mountain range. The owner Dan is pleasant and offers guests a tour of property and shares insights on the surrounding area. The inside of property is neat and organized for guests. If you have children, the local dogs on the property are quite noisy all night (5-7 dogs) and seem to act as a security detail. "

"The property itself is beautiful! The dive centre and the spa were the absolute highlights. The staff at the dive centre were very attentive, accommodating and the facilities were fantastic. "Not a 4/5 star resort. This resort is fine, but has neither the facility nor the staff to be considered four or five stars. As such, it is overpriced. Pros: Location is beautiful and the grounds are well tended. The food, though extremely limited, is good. The staff are gracious. Cons: Meager breakfast options with no a la carte menu, limited dinner menu and you must order before 5p. No room service. No pool-side service. No 24hr service. "The servuce was amazing, so many nice and friendly people, especially at the reception or at the poolbar. I had to buy adapter for electricity because there was only one plug with international standard. But this was only a minor point. Perhaps in other rooms it is better. The resort is phantastic with flower gardens and directly at the beach. So many activities possible. Thank you very much. I will come back again. "

"The diving was awesome ... something new every dive. Guides (Ace) were very skilled and spotted all the things we wanted to see on our muck diving treasure hunts. Resort staff and manager were super friendly and sorted a couple of our trips outside the property. Trip to Oslob went well with total round trip 6am to 1pm and no wait in any queue to see those wonderful whale sharks. Another day trip to the Baslay hotsprings we did by scooter, what fun! Beautiful Tokamak restaurant was a great place to eat. Overall, no complaints with Mike's, peaceful and diving at the pace that suits you."

"Not a 4/5 star resort. This resort is fine, but has neither the facility nor the staff to be considered four or five stars. As such, it is overpriced. Pros: Location is beautiful and the grounds are well tended. The food, though extremely limited, is good. The staff are gracious. Cons: Meager breakfast options with no a la carte menu, limited dinner menu and you must order before 5p. No room service. No pool-side service. No 24hr service. Running water failed twice during my 3-day visit (zero water pressure to the entire facility). Pool towels not stocked or refreshed. Architecture is motel-style with public walkway and entrance outside of the window, so you have to choose between privacy and daylight. Older, dark decide and fixtures not meeting the high standards of a 4-star property."
