"We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious. "Bartizan is locted on edge of Galle Fort. It has a rooftop with seating which has great sea views and more importantly a breeze in the swealtering heat! Breakfast amazing, with nice choices, staff supet freindly and very polite. Well worth booking a room with seaview or partial seaview rather than courtyard room ( although these are fine). Would recommend this hotel. "

Excellent Food/Setting and Accomodations

"Excellent/wonderful. Beautiful facility/setting and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast was the best I had in all of Sri Lanka. The dinner choices were wide ranging an excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "

"Enjoyed my stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is nice but the rooms are a bit dated. I would consider this a 4 not 5 star hotel. Special shout-out to Subhadra who was fantastic from housekeeping my entire staff. Definitely a highlight. Would recommend this hotel. "
