Jordan is full of beautiful landscapes and we loved the huge valley in front of us - breathtaking location and staff was super friendly Dinner was delicious and the price was very affordable - even with the crappy exchange rate on our crappy Canadian dollar
Da waren wir nun. Nach einigem Suchen haben wir die Ortschaft gefunden. Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Klippe und man hätte eine herrrliche Aussicht auf das Tal. haben können. Leider war die Sicht an den beiden Tagen sehr eingeschränkt (es war trüb). Die Ortschaft Dana ist eigentlich nur noch ein Trümmerhaufen von verfallenen Gebäuden. Es gibt drei Gasthäuser und Restaurants. Interessant ist die ehemalige Wasserversorgung der Ortschaft. Über Wuhren wird das Wasser von Quellen herangeleitet.Das Abendessen war sehr sehr bescheiden. Über die Frühstückszeiten musste man diskutieren. Der Leiter des Gasthauses zeigte eher eine frauenablehende Haltung. Er war z.T. trotzdem sehr informativ über Gewohnheiten in Jordanien. Wir wollten zu einigen Wandertouren Informationen haben, die wir aber niemals erhalten haben. Wir wurden immer wieder vertröstet. Nach einer Nacht Aufenthalt sind wir einfach schnell weiter gefahren.

Fantastisch uitzicht
Een bijzondere plek met wonderlijk uitzicht. Mooie grote kamers met balkon die uitzicht heeft over dana.

Super Lage, aber deutliche Mängel
Wir hatten als Paar zwei Übernachtungen mit Frühstück für je ca. 130€ umgerechnet. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Teams ist großartig. Die Lage einzigartig. Aber eine gewisse Sauberkeit im Hotel, im Restaurant und in den Zimmern darf man bei dem Preis u.E. vorausetzen - ebenso wie einen normalen Kaffee (den es nicht gab). Das Essen gibt es jeweils als Buffet. Das Frühstück war mehr als übersichtlich und nach 30 Minuten das Buffet geplündert. Die Lunch-Pakete fanden wir für ihren Inhalt deutlich überteuert. Ebenso wie die Produkte im Shop. Ein kleines Glas Honig für umgerechnet 32(!)€.
