"The biggest downfall for hotel was the fact that they tell you the spa is open from 10am till 7pm but they randomly close it earlier. These timings are already very short in comparison to most hotels so is really annoying. They then lied to expedia when they called as we put a complaint in saying that the spa needs to be booked in advance which is not the case. The hotel its self however is great for location, cleanliness and food. However, the staff at reception are not very welcoming. ...

"We enjoyed our stay at the property, but service was really lacking. We couldn’t get the jet tub to work, the water came out cold and brown. Restaurant staff didn’t want to assist, welcome or serve. They didn’t want to fetch a coffee from the bar for you, there was no willingness to look after guests. The old guy in the restaurant did nothing except smoke and sit at the bar each service. The hotel itself was calm and a bit of an oasis. We enjoyed the use of the pool but be aware it doesn’t get...

"Lovely hotel and location, Short flat walk by the river into town past several riverside restaurants . Breakfast was excellent.We saw turtles from the restaurant between 9 and 10am.They will eat a little cheese but not bread. Drinks and food prices here were a bit higher than some places. Half board was a reasonable option and they were flexible if you wanted lunch instead of dinner and also would provide a vegetarian option . Otherwise it is just one choice like soup, fish , desert....
