"This charming hostal (really a boutique hotel) gave us an authentic taste of old Havana. It has a quirky, unique style with a lovely bar and balconies. We stayed here at the beginning and again at the end of our stay, so got to know the staff well. They were all incredibly friendly and endlessly helpful, making recommendations, booking taxis, transfers, changing money and answering all our questions. Jorge in particular was always around to help us in every way he could. We stayed in a small but comfortable room first then splurged on the suite on the upper floor, which was definitely worth the price. Both rooms had reliable WiFi, and a/c. We loved Cuba and when we go back to Havana we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the whole team at Balcones Muralla."

"My first time in Cuba and with only two nights, I felt at home. Since my arrival with the attention of the reception staff Mariem I received an incredible early check in and a great free upgrade to one of their best rooms, the Junior Suit, super comfortable and spacious. I really enjoyed breakfast, mainly the coffee and the egg, and the chefs were attentive to everything I asked for. I can't leave aside the cleaning staff who always received the room like the first time. Thank you all! I hope to return soon!"
