"I stayed a week at Vung Bau and really enjoyed my stay, minus a few problems. I was contacted by email regarding pickup, without problems. Greeted upon arrival by Chi, with a drink and taken immediately to my room. A small garden view room, spotlessly clean. further away from the restaurant but also away from noise of the dogs, chickens and roosters. Great water pressure, hot water as well! "The echo lodge has pleasant and very helpful staff but the actual decking surrounding it is very rickety and untidy. There is an old boat in corner (like a shipwreck). They have a lot of dogs ( which was ok for us). The actual beach opposite is definitely not one to lie on. It has litter everywhere and so has the sea. The actual rooms are nice but small."
