"Location, floating on the Danube River, was fantastic. Wonderful views from our room facing the river. Fantastic views from top deck. Hungarian Parliament lit up at night was my favourite. Loved the breakfast with lots of variety. All staff very helpful. Only downside was the rooms are in need of a bit of tlc but was an awesome experience and would definitely stay again. "

"We travel a lot and this was the nicest apartment we've ever rented. Huge place, beautiful woodwork throughout, amazing kitchen I'd like for my home! I made sure the building had an elevator before we booked which it did- but beware there are still two flights of stairs to get to the apartment. With luggage at our age was tough but doable. "What a fantastic stay we had at Roland Apartments! Firstly, the location couldn't have been better – it's close to everything. We also appreciated the convenience of the train station, which was only an 11-minute walk away. While the building itself is quite old, it has a lot of character. "The location was excellent- only a couple of minutes from the Parliament building and river front. The apartment was in an older building but had been renovated to a modern style and the other apartments seemed to be occupied by local people. The boiler broke but was repaired the next day even though it was a Bank Holiday. "Great location close to Chain Bridge and Buda Castle, plenty of restaurants nearby. Comfortable, quiet room and excellent breakfast selection. They still have those “poop on a shelf” style toilets though."

"A great choice of property, this old Monastary has retained its character whilst being cleverly decorated for the purpose of a hotel. The lovely blonde lady receptionist was efficient and professional - very impressive. The restaurant staff and manager were fantastic and delivered a good breakfast. The bedroom carpet was stained and seriously needed spot cleaning. The tissues were empty on our arrival but despite us leaving the box open, they were never replenished. If the hotel is not providing them, at least remove the empty box. The location of the hotel was great with easy access to the public transport, walking distance to the city, shops, restaurants, castle area, river and a local SPAR. We really liked the feel of this hotel and would definitely recommend it. And it has a lift."
