The room was not ready when we got there for early check-in, even though we called ahead. The room was not clean and conditions were very worn. Worst of all, the heater in the room made a terrible knocking noise all night. The staff was nice and it was great to be able to bring our dog at only $20.

Three night stay

The hotel was conveniently located to all my activities in Crystal Lake. The staff were nice and helpful throughout my stay. The downside for me, there was no conditioner provided since they have a 2 in one shampoo (people with long hair need conditioner) and the towels were rough feeling.

Clean/Comfortable for the price.

I would stay again. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. I did not use the coffee maker as the water holder probably has a collection of minerals(?) from the water. Heard neighbors and hallway noise only a couple times during my one one stay. Room rate good for a senior or anyone on limited funds.

The property is old and worn. The walls in the bathroom were desperate for fresh paint. The bed was comfortable but the smoke detector blinked a bright light all night. The sheets smelled strongly of laundry detergent, almost like they had not been rinsed properly, making it difficult to sleep. The breakfast consisted of two types of cereal, bananas, and coffee.

Found old food in fridge. Moved to another room due to concern it was not cleaned properly. Rooms had musty smell. Previous repairs were not professional done. Complete renovation Is in great need. Staff was great. Location very good. Security not good. Anyone could come in the back door. There is a security pad by the door, but not working.
