"It was such a special experience to stay on Mt Saint Michel for a night and extra special to stay at La Mere Poulard. The rooms were adequate for 1 night, clean and had fabulous views. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options and all the staff were delightful. "The smallest 5-star hotel in Europe! My friend and I checked in during the off-season for one night. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The owner gave us personalized attention and was very helpful. The location is convenient to Mont Saint Michel: just a five-minute drive to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus. "What a lovely stay! Highly recommend. The hosts, Sonya and Sebastian, were very warm friendly and helpful (They told us about the next morning's high tides which we would have otherwise missed.) The B&B was a nice and quiet place, a short 5-10 min walk to the bus stop. The room had plenty of space yet felt cozy. Loved the featherbed and loved the breakfast. If we're back this way would love to stay again."

"We could see Mt St Michele from the street. You must drive and park closer to the tram. As you would expect there is much climbing of stairs to see the Abby but it is so fantastic. This was a good place to stay unless you want to spend much more and stay in a hotel right in the village at the base of the Abby. "

"Get the river view even off season which we did. You can open your window and hear the soothing sounds. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good too considering the front desk staff do double duty to cook as well. Service was top notch. Also the surrounding quiet and charming town has street vendors who setup shop for the locals but they spoken English too. It’s nice to be able to see a town that’s not a bunch of souvenir shops every block. ...

"We stayed at the little house and it was splendid. Very spacious, it smelled great. Beds are truly comfortable. This place has everything a family of four could need and more. Their grounds are beautifully trimmed and kept, maintained and designed. Breakfast buffet was beyond delicious, their bread and crepes were very good. It was all very clean, calm, and quiet. I need to go back and stay many nights there. I will recommend for sure! All the staff here, every single person that works here...
