"Federico was the perfect host. The accommodations was very nice and clean and spa like.The surrounding area was amazing. Breakfast and dinner was available and was very good. Staff were nice and very helpful. Close to Tarcoles Bridge and Carrara National Park. Great opportunity to see birds and monkeys.I would highly recommend. "Spent the 1st of our 3 weeks in Costa Rica here. Quiet place to unwind. Incredible view of the Gulf of Nicoya with the most bird activity we've seen so far in a stunning tree out front... Macaws, Toucans, Parrots and lots of smaller birds as well. A refreshing little pool. Requires a vehicle to get anywhere. The owners live right there and are very responsive to any needs. Highly recommend!!!"

"The hotel was immaculately clean and the included breakfast was delicious. Our daughter loved the pool - it was just the thing after a long day of travel. Our room had good AC and comfortable beds. The staff were very kind and helpful! Will recommend this hotel to others and stay here again if I’m ever in the area!"

"Overall Villa Lapas Jungle Resort was a good place to stay. We had 2 rooms with breakfast, but did not pay for the all inclusive stay because we are vegetarian and don’t drink alcohol. Positives: 1.
