The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. I was delighted to find this accommodation, which was a nice drive both through country lanes but also accessible from the main roads. "great location in Carentan and the host is very knowledgeable about the area and historic sites. A lot of effort has been put in the look and the feel of the accomodation and breakfast room with authentic war memorabilia. We stayed 1 night and travelled down the coast with a 2nd night closer to Sword beach but in hindsight we should’ve stayed in Carentan for both nights."
