"Il Chiostro, a former monastery is a 75 euro taxi ride outside Sorrento, at least that is what we were charged. Maria is very helpful and friendly but be aware, there is no bus service to the Relais and it is a 600 metre steep uphill walk from the main road. Impossible if you have luggage. The only practical way to get to Sorrento is by bus walking down and up the hill unless you rent a car or scooter. "Melody is a great little BnB located in a building complex about a block or two away (5mins walking) from the main street in Sorrento. The hosts were wonderful and kind - we reached out to them beforehand and we were greeted by Michael at the front door. The facilities were clean and there is breakfast available in the morning. The actual hotel is located on the 4th floor of the building, and you must go to the back entrance of the building in order to enter. "

"The location was very convenient - just 10 minutes walk to Piazza Tasso. The room was clean and modern but a bit small. We really enjoyed the balcony and would have our coffee and breakfast outside. There was not any real breakfast but some pre-packaged toast and cereal was provided. The whole check in process was done over the phone and we only saw our host for a moment on our last day. Meeting us in person at check in would have made us feel more welcome and make the process easier. "

"We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Al Parco Verde Sorrento. The unit was clean and comfortable. Location from the railway station was an easy walk away, which is great for arrival / departure, as well as visiting Pompeii and/or Naples. The highlight of our stay was getting to know the host, Michele. Each morning he made us an incredible breakfast and told us everything we needed to know about the area including restaurants, laundry, places to visit, the lift up and down the cliff at Sorrento etc...

"The staff at the hotel is outstanding! Hotel is immaculate and the outdoor areas are especially inviting. Room comfortable and spacious and very quiet. We tried to book extra nights, but property was closing for the off-season. We’d love to come back!"
