"The tea towel for drying dishes was absolutely stinking of dampness, obviously wasn't clean! There was no kitchen roll so had to use one of the bath towels - it also had dirty marks on. The livingroom/sitting area was stinking of dogs. The plug-in air freshener was empty. Couldn't figure out how to use the grill."

"The hotel did not inform us that it was under complete reconstruction and offered us an alternative that was out of the local area we expected and gave us less tha than 24 hour notice when everything in the area was booked up due to a major sporting event. Very shadey way to operate. "

"We have just returned home from a very peaceful and relaxing couple of days at Cleeves Cabins. We stayed in the Arran Lodge which was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you needed for a wonderful stay including a wonderful hot tub on the decking. We spent many hours in the evening relaxing and watching the stars in the lovely warm hot tub. Robert our host and owner of the farm was very friendly and helped us out with knowledge of the area and suggesting some great places to visit. I...

"The owner was not available for contact once I reached the property after a 3 hr Train ride. After several attempts to contact in order to get into the property, we ended up booking at another place. This was very, very hard, since the OPEN was going on and there were NO vacancies. Eventually, after making a lot of phone calls we were able to book another place to stay. "

"Lochview Lodges offered a wonderful stay with its well-appointed lodges and breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting, complete with friendly goat, cow, and sheep neighbours, was truly relaxing. While the lodge itself was beautifully constructed and equipped, I was a bit disappointed to find the oven and washing machine needed cleaning before use. "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However, very noisy floor boards in our room were really quite annoying. The sound insulation between adjacent rooms could be improved. The breakfast was generally fine, although a couple of items were over cooked & inedible. Service for dinner was very slow."

"allocated a very large room (#3 Greenfell) with large bay window with window seat overlooking the front of the hotel with views to the right of the sea. Had everything i needed, and lots of space. Great shower, proper hairdryer - very happy. Dedicated gluten free choices for breakfast and hot food made to order - very good. Only complaint - please put a proper mug in the room, tea cups are too small"

"Nice room with a very comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. Restaurant service was also very good. Only disappointment was dinner in the Rabbit restaurant, not worth the money. Beautiful ingredients, well presented but didn't taste amazing for the price. Have the chefs ever tasted the Hake in a Chicken broth, a waste of hake? Would eat the bar food next time."

Fab hotel

"This hotel is brilliant, staff are great, rooms are nice we was on 3rd floor as they have been recently decorated, they have a live singer on every night! This is not advertised enough round the hotel, we found this on 2nd night the live singers are fab! Will be staying again the grounds around it are stunning too! You get what you pay for and more I loved this hotel "
