"The rooms are comfortable and had all the facilities you would want. The rooms are a little tired but with such a busy island you’ll only be sleeping and showering in it. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming including to our dog who they treated like royalty. Evening meal very good and breakfast which I paid for in advance was impressive. Great location. A little noisy at pub closing time but should be expected as I booked a hotel above a pub!!! Would recommend for all"

"From arrival to departure Jonathan, Melissa and Magnus (The Dog) were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Fat Badger Hut which was absolutely stunning, the bed was the cosiest thing ever and the room was well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The little things including the beautifully lit garden with fairy lights and water features plus our hosts hospitality was unquestionably outstanding. This was a truly perfect staycation. We will definitely be going back. "

"Met by awful smell in en-suite shower it took 10 minutes of running shower to clear it. Property needs a lot of tlc. Bulbs missing in ceiling light mirror broken and bed broken underneath. Kitchen tap dripping so water being wasted. Only 2 milk pans available for cooking for 7 people and insufficient cutlery only 1 teaspoon. Living room is too small for a family of 7. The house is in a nice area for access to shops and restaurants as well as other parts of the island."
