The room was super comfortable and well designed for the limited space available - also quiet, so we slept great. The only elevator broke down while we were there, and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs a few times to reach our 5th floor room. (We saw others who had to carry very heavy luggage down the stairs). The surrounding area feels quite safe but is a bit dark and dingy. The hotel no longer offers parking, and the nearby options are sketchy, so we don’t recommend it if you’re driving to Brooklyn. That said, if flying into NY, we would stay there again.

Only issue we had with this hotel was the elevator. It took far too long to get up or down. Would likely not stay here again because of that. It's too bad, because everything was top-notch.

We stayed at the Marriott Marquis the week before Christmas. The location is perfect. Our suite and the service was amazing.
