"Really lovely place to stay to visit Bourton on the water. Just a few minutes walk into the high street. Parking is a little tight but that was more down to a selfish patron taking up more than their share of space. Drinks and snacks in the room along with tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious. Would definately recommend. "

"The cleaner was the most lovely man who couldn’t have done more to make our stay comfortable. In the heart of town it was perfect to walk to dinner etc. the stairs were difficult to navigate with large suitcases. The picking up of the keys was confusing as the instructions said it was offsite but it was onsite and we walked the town looking for Hartley House and it turned out to be a very old name for the property we stayed in. "Charming and lovely property and owners. Our room was so comfortable and elegant that I'm considering decorating one of our bedrooms to match. Tiny little touches like fresh cookies each day and returning to our room with soft music playing on the radio elevated the experience. I wish that we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come back. We enjoyed the breakfast, what a great way to start the day! The tasting menu and service at dinner was exceptional. We will definitely be back!"

"It was a pleasure to stay. The staff upgraded our room on arrival and gave us a feeling that we were important to them. The room was comfortable and the mini bar was a nice throwbacks touch. Only thing lacking was the shower cap for my wife. "

"Staff in the restaurant and bar were exceptional. Room was great #6. However, stairs are narrow and a bit hardy to navigate. Restaurant was exceptional with a variety of selections. Stayed as a base and took day trips around the area. Parking was not good. Too small and very limited. Nearby restaurants were exceptional."
