"Fabulous hotel with rooftop pool. I would have given it an excellent score but for a couple of little things. The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly. The little things that niggled were: no tea and coffee making facilities in room, no drawers to put anything in. No means of drying items. Upstairs there are 6 sunloungers but you can’t use umbrellas over them. And last was the layout of the breakfast area, when it’s busy it’s a bit of a claustrophobic nightmare "

"The Orla is one of THE best places you can stay if you want to be near the beach. It is literally across from the famous Copacabana - you can walk there in a minute! Don't think you'll get a great view from your hotel window, however; there are a limited number of rooms overlooking the ocean, but the room we stayed in was still very nice, as was the hotel staff. "Loved the balconies overlooking the Copacabana beach! The staff is so awesome and the guys at breakfast rock! The breakfast is superb and you can get omelets made to order. The food there is so good! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner there! I was glad we had a bathtub/shower. Towels and beds are great too! Pool bar is nice on top floor overlooking everything! Loved everything about it! Rooms ac worked great!"
