We have stayed twice now. Always extremely clean and we love the guest facilities. The guest kitchen is very handy, and as a family we love the sheltered outdoor space with a cubby house and bbq. Our go to place when staying in Coober Pedy now.

This is a must for travelers stopping at Coober Pedy. It’s very unique, clean and has astounding view of the night sky in the evening. It offers parking as well for those who have cars.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful when I arrived. Also, extremely accommodating when i originally messed up my dates. When I arrived in a massive rain storm in a car, they helped me plan places that I would safely and easily make it to in my vehicle. The room was great and held temperatures wonderfully. I highly recommend staying here.

The panoramic view from the outside verandah was amazing. The bed was comfortable, good water pressure and plenty of hot water with the shower. Owners were friendly and helpful. Very quiet setting and clean.

The Underground Motel is a unique place to stay as you are underground. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport. The rooms are cleaning and the couple who run it are very friendly and helpful.
