"There seems to be improvements to what I have seen in other reviews. There are some very rowdy neighbors on the pub next to this place, avoid if light sleeper. Mattress is pretty hard, again, avoid if this bothers you. Robert was nice enough to let us store our bags for a few hours so we could go on a tour. It was an adequate experience."

It is a very small property and there were some quirks (heaters, water heater for shower, washing machine) that we would have appreciated clearer communication about how to properly use them. This location is not walkable. It’s in a strictly residential area. Parking is on the street, but it was never an issue to find a nearby spot. "Great location but no parking. App and local cell number needed to book a park sometimes as far as 1 mile away. It is a 2 floor cottage with bathroom on 1st and living room and bedroom on 2nd. "This property is a gem located nearby Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. The cabin is very new with a clean and functional kitchen as well as comfortable beds. Inverness is a quick drive away or by taxi (we found parking in Inverness to be a nightmare so opted for the taxi.) The owner is on-site to answer questions or help with any problems. Great place to stay if you are visiting the sites in this area of Scotland. "
